Non stock Muffler?

I have a Smithys muffler connected to my Headers, I want to get a muffler that is quiet, any recommendations?

The model A muffler and tail pipe that the parts vendors sell is a good choice. It is quiet and the tone of the exhaust is exactly what the model A Ford sounded like when the model A Ford was sold new. The stainless steel performance exhaust that they also sell is louder and it doesn't sound exactly like the Model A did. Unless you have done modifications to your engine, the stock exhaust available for your Model A will perform just fine.

I like the stock but, cant fit with the Reds Headers unless the stock is cut, which I wont do.

Get an Aires muffler and order it without the front piece then have your local muffler shop fab the front piece to fit your headers. At least that’s what I did.

While this may sound a tad cliché, but why not order a replacement muffler for a Mercedes, Cadillac, or Lincoln and that would surely get you a quiet sounding one.

I put a Mercedes rear muffler from a 80s turbo diesel on my smiths compressor, the muffler pipe is about 2-1/2 inches dia, straight through, very quiet ----pffft pffft pffft pffft
a good cloud of diesel black came out at first ---put one on my chevy truck, makes it sound healthy under power, quiet at cruise

1929, Never heard of a Patriot muffler. Most mufflers like the Smithy are made of steel that is thicker than original mufflers and don't rust through as quickly.

I use a 2" Hushpower 18" long muffler connected to a Reds Header. Works for me.

I have Flowmaster Hushpower mufflers on my 1960 Chevy with dual exhaust
and they are, by far, not quiet. You may install it on a 8,6,4 cylinder or even a 3 HP lawnmower and I still would not consider it a quiet muffler ... Just my 2 cents !!
