When using evaporust or rust 911 can it be sprayed like paint on large pieces? Once a part has been subject to these products, what has to be done to lay a coat of primer on the part? Does it have to be washed in water first? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Jack

I doubt spraying will work. I always immerse my parts in it and let it soak. Rinse with clear water.

Jack. I have a 57 olds 98 and the hood is punched full of louvers. A really nice hood but some what rusty on the in side. Did not want to sand blast i with all those louvers. So i taped up the outside with plastic sheet and duct tape. Flipped it over and made a large batch of 911 mixed. And made a lake in side up to the edges. After a couple of days it looked like brand new clean metal. Drained it, rinsed it with clean water and painted a good coat of epoxy primer. If you can soak the part it would be best. I am not sure spraying it on would work that good. Soaking is the best in my opinion.
