How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
I would like to read your views and experiences about the place and the way to attach the 6 Volt Turn Signal Flasher(3 Sprong Type) from Mac's. It has no mounting.

I used zip ties and fastened to whatever was handy. Been secure now for many years.

I used a worm gear hose clamp attached to steering column behind timing lever.

I have used black tape and rapped it up on the top side of steering Colum.

One thing I did was to get one of the flasher blinker things that makes a noise to let me know it was on. Problem with the one I got, it sounds like a big rig backing up-to loud.

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
I just let the flasher relay hang on the wires in a somewhat out of the way place. They weigh next to nothing. Never had a problem.

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
I used a plastic 35mm film canister screwed to the firewall. The flasher slips inside it perfectly. This was before digital cameras were the norm, but you still might be able to find one in a camera or photo finishing store.

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
Just tape over the hole that the sound comes out of. More or less covering the hole, volume control!

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
I just leave the turn signal flasher hanging from the wires.

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
My signal control has it’s own mounting that clamps on the column .This one has a small wheel that will cancel the switch when the wheel is turned back

I used a Cole Hersee #3032-8x socket. It has a mounting ear and pigtails.

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
Since I am 12volt, I used a motorcycle flasher, which looks like one of those small square relays, and has a screw tab for mounting. It is electronic, so works well with LED lites. No 3rd leg for an indicator light though, but since I have separate indicator tell tale lights for each side, I did not need the 3rd leg. If needed, a couple tiny diodes would create a 3rd leg.

Re: How to attach a Turn Signal Flasher
I installed the E-lights wireless directional intention lights from Egypt Garage. Works great without any wires nor flasher mounting.
