I agree with you don’t use any kind of epoxy to repair. I didn’t know the body was off and your doing a restoration. My problem was my car is done just painted and the gas tank was removed and sealed by a local radiator shop.
So I did the JB weld trick. I didn’t want to remove the tank and ruin a new paint job!
