Default Installing windshield on`69 f100

In the process of replacing windshield on my 1969 f100 and hit a snag ! It has the chrome strip in the seal and I can`t figure out the right order to do it in( window in seal and then put in chrome and then install window?) Really stumped and don`t to break glass so any help would be great. Thanks, Al

Chrome trim in seal first is the way I did it on the last windshield I installed. The chrome has a lip that needs to be in the rubber first.

^X2. I had a 63 F150 that had similar trim in the seal. You can't install the trim afterward. I know. I tried.
