Is the front and back spring on the 46/47/48 Ford the same? I have one that has been in the shed for years and can't remember which it is! Also ,are they a different lenght to the pre war Ford? cheers

No , rears are longer. That looks like a front but it also looks more like a 37 to.41 to me

I believe fronts are 2 inches wide and rears are 2 & 1/4 wide

flathead48 is correct. Also the 46-48 have the big eyes, believe 1 3/16".

The front had a bigger arch and is a little narrower. The back is flatter and beffier.
