Re: 1929 Tudor 'Barner' count....
Another 29 Tudor (although its somewhat weird). Matching OCT 1929 engine and frame serial number but with original color scheme and electric wipers that were supposedly discontinued in July 1929.

Re: 1929 Tudor 'Barner' count....
There are two of our club members who have them who are not internet folks and so theirs are not being counted here. So, if that's the case for my somewhat small town (say 40k or so), then there must still be a whopping number of them "out there".

Re: 1929 Tudor 'Barner' count....
Officially, we are up to 36. Perhaps a Fordor owner would like to get a thread going to challenge that number? I'd even allow for like-year grouping, say 28/29 or 30/31..... Any four-door, regardless of 'style'. I suspect 36 will be hard to beat. Any takers?

Re: 1929 Tudor 'Barner' count....
Even though considered "common", I think the Tudor is a CLASS CAR! Easy to get into, easily modified front seats, IF, more room is needed, & stowage room under the front seats.
As a kid, we had a spiffy, all BLACK, '29 Tudor, for MANY YEARS, "toured" EVERYWHERE, at a time when most Folks just went to town & drove short visiting runs. With just Bulger, my Dog, & I, in the back seat, I'd tell Chief, "These LOOOONG side windows are our WINDOWS TO THE WORLD"!! I never remember ever having "on the road" breakdowns, Chief knew how to make cars run VERY DEPENDABLY! IF, I ever get another Model A, it'll be a TUDOR! Bill Traveler

Re: 1929 Tudor 'Barner' count....
A noble tribute to a fine car, Bill. I suspect the Tudor was the 'cash cow' of the company back then. Thanks!

Here is another. May 5, 1929. Original purchase into South Dakota from assy plant in Twin Cities plant, then to Oregon then to California. We have had it for 38 years and have put 57000 miles on it over the years.
