My 1930 CCPU is a burgundy colour. The wheels were powder coated the same when it was restored over there but now, they are an awful red/brown colour similar to red oxide primer and about as dull. The powder coating has faded but not the paint on the car. I have never powder coated wheels. If you are thinking of doing so, I'd suggest you think carefully before doing so.
