1935 tail light housings
The reproduction 35/36 tail lights from Vintique have a SS housing painted black. (they're non- magnetic.) This is so they can use the same housings for 33/34 and 35/36, but just paint the ones for 35/36. Were the original 35/36 tail light housings made of SS or of conventional steel.

Re: 1935 tail light housings
35-36 were steel...and the 'duolamp' was pressed into the top portion of the housings, whereas the stainless 33-34 ones duolamp is raised

Re: 1935 tail light housings
In addition to having the Duo-Lamp pressed into the housing, the distance from the mounting bracket to the lens is shorter for 35-36 than for the 33-34 taillights. Only side by side or measurement will tell the difference.
