I have both F100 Steering Box's and 2 Tooth Boxes installed and can really tell little difference in them.
The 2 Tooth Boxes are completely rebuilt with all new parts ( and have zero play at center) along with a Short Pitman Arm and Teflon bushings in the steering linkage. New balls on the steering arms. The F100 box is slightly easier to turn due to ratio but is hardly noticeable. You might be able to locate a early 2 Tooth Box with a splined shaft and not have to replace the steering wheel. I have converted 7 tooth boxes to 2 tooth to keep the splined steering wheel but it requires a little machine work and fabrication. I have rebuilt a few 7 tooth boxes but never able to get the play equal to that of a 2 tooth.
