The parts books here used the same body numbers as the U.S. eg 40A & B etc. as most of the commercial bodies were built to order they were just called by their names eg Deluxe Express Delivery.

While we're on the bus topic, here are a few images.
I'll respond to the Pepsi truck with a Coca Cola truck at a later date ![]() First, the ideal school bus: In the real world, not every school bus was as pretty as the ad. Wonder what it was like to ride waaaay back of the rear axle? Okay, okay... I know it's a GAZ, but it's sure a nice looking bus (especially the faired cowl): |

The Ohio club made a silent film that was shown at the Indy National meet a few years ago, and there was a scene with a school bus that had a bench seat down each side and one down the middle. What a difference from now. Kids would have loved to ride on padded seats back then. I think the bus is owned by Roger Kauffman

No offense, MrTube, but I'd rather have an "A" full of cute Russian girls (Post 63) than an "A" full of refrigerators

Oh, Luke: I have to take a "pause that refreshes" before I add to your Coca Cola images.

Until I can dredge up some more Coca Cola images, how about a nice piece of pie? Indeed, how about 700,000 pieces of pie???

GREAT BUS!
Here's the only "Working" woodie image I have: I'd love to see more images of station wagons in real life. Anyone? |
