Was wondering if anyone has installed the Champion cooling EC3032 radiator in their 32? I just bought one and one of the reviews was actually a guy that had installed one in a 4 banger. looked like it required a a different upper hose which I can do no problem, but wasn't sure on the mounting. It looks like it comes with the tabs welded on, but no holes drilled. I also have the stock ford radiator mounting kit coming so hoping to make it work. I am a little concerned because it looked in the picture that the guy had done something to the upper support rods to make them work. Just curious if anyone has done this successfully. hoping to paint it flat black so it doesn't look so out of place.

Seems like all the 32-4 alum. radiators I have seen on ebay do not have a neck on top for the stock radiator cap or the mounting to attach your radiator rods to.

jim, yes this one has the same issue, the neck extends into the engine bay, however there is a bracket for the rods.

OK, so its been awhile but I finally got around to finishing the radiator install over the weekend. I had to make a bracket for the hood rods to reach and was able to find a top hose at NAPA. I used the water pump that I got from another barner and it works great. The mounting tabs for the grill shell were a bit off but with some bending worked just fine. I'm sure the die hards will say it looks terrible, but im just happy to be able to drive it. I didnt do anything that cant be undone if I wanted to spend $800 on a radiator instead of $175.

Finished product. Dont mind the fuel hose coming out of the hood, gas tank replacement and headlights are next. So much fun to drive.

This is my grandfathers '32 B Model stake body farm truck. Bought it new and drove himself and my grandmother across Canada with a home built camper on the back. He had an awesome Hudson Hornet to drive to church, but this truck was his preferred go-to-town on Saturday vehicle, until he passed in 1963. My uncle parked it in the mountains with the camper as a hunting cabin for many years. Someone blasted the radiator with a shotgun. My brother restored the truck starting in 2000 and found an original radiator which took much repair. The engine had been overhauled so many times that the cylinder walls got too thin and the block cracked. It was replaced with a correct engine. Looks and runs great now. I drive it whenever I visit my brother, but have not yet mastered crashless gear shifting.

Pat, it seems to cool great! Only took it around the neighborhood for now, but time will tell. Drolston, the shifting is tricky, jsut have to be patient. Like everything else with these old trucks..
