Boo, (hope I didn't scare you)
BOY, do these NAMES bring back memories from the Fabulous '50's!!! Once found a non-marked Flathead V-8 cam at my Wrecking Yard, it ran REALLY WILD! Bill Nonoriginal

Are you sure that your cam isn't for a VW ? Jack Engle was a pretty famous cam maker from what I've read. Racing cams. I've heard that in the 40s/50s, Engle was responsible for a lot of VW hot cams. I'm surprised that anyone in the 'cam' business wouldn't have at least heard of Jack Engle cams. Don't know about A/B blocks and engle cam. Can you show us a picture of such cam, and what is measurement of bearings ? thanks. Last edited by hardtimes; 03-15-2017 at 09:39 PM. Reason: ........... |

Re: Need info on engle cam
I grew up in Santa Monica, the home of Engle, where every hot rod had an Engle Racing Cam decal on their quarter window. Engle is still very much in business.
