These engines have been 2 1/2 miles from my home. The seller is a friend of mine. All the engines and parts belonged to his father in law . Seller is a die-hard chevy guy forty years old and was cleaning out his shop. The father in law had a lot more blocks but junked 14 of them and kept these. The H model six is a runner and recently rebuilt, but pulled for a small block in a '51 panel. The complete 59 ab is stuck, but has clean cylinders, full cross hatching and was obtained from an 88 year old man who had it rebuilt and later installed yet another small block chev. It sat under his workbench for years and unless I am way off base, this engine is only lightly stuck. It is very clean inside. Has a crab distributor and we pulled the heads to look inside. The bare blocks all have labled cranks and caps are installed. This is the same guy I got the Sioux and Van Dorn valve grinding equipment from. These tools were also his FIL's. Some of the cranks have floating bearings taped on and there are boxes of parts. I even pulled my tonner panel out into the rain so I could park this load in the shed until I can get it sorted out and unloaded.

Seven blocks, two complete engines. I have 3 jailbar trucks that still need engines , not counting the woodie project, but that engine is nearly done and I know it all the way through. I'm hoping to taper off work when I hit seventy (in six years and I'll need some projects to stay busy since I can't even imagine sitting around or golfing. Some to flip, some to drive and enjoy. I guess I just love these engines and how they run and how they smell and how they sound. You guys get it and that's why I'm always showing up here. Thanks for enjoying this load with me!
