The most intuitive way to do this in WORD would be to put your cursor next to the page number in the footer of your document. Any page will do. Now double click to put you in editing mode for the footer. Delete the page number as you would for text in the main body of the document. This will delete the page numbers for all pages EXCEPT if you have set up your document in sections, in which case you'll have to repeat this process for each section.
