Default Re: Smaller Diameter Steering Wheel

I rolled a new 3/8" steel ring for the steering wheel I use in my '29 cabriolet to get a 16" diameter. I cut the old ring off and TIG welded the new one on, It took a while but I found a steering wheel caster to make a new rim for the wheel. I am happy with the results, but it was a long and rather expensive process to get what I wanted. The 16" size works well on the Model A and does not look too small or take too much effort to steer. I also have the shorter steering arm.
