I just came across these 6 volt positive ground red bulbs, in case someone wants to paly around with making turn signals or a third brake light. They do have an odd socket though.

This even has a screw terminal, not some short 24 awg lead on it.

The bulbs I listed are then smaller than I thought, so they won't work for what I had in mind. |

German cars of the 50s, 60s had that base for instrument cluster bulbs, very low wattages----not many of the cars with that base were + ground though

I'm going to order some of these for blinkers in my headlights, i'll let you know if they are any good. Just a warning if ordering anything direct from china it takes ages to get to you, in Australia anyway.

I can't find much on the BA7 base, but, I think its 10mm rather than 5/8"[19mm] like the BA15 that we need.
