Default 6 Volt Positive ground Alternator

When you hook up a 1 wire, Positive ground alternator the out wire on the alternator connects to negative battery terminal. Is the correct, Thanks, Steve

That's correct but the ammeter is in the middle of the wire, along with a few terminal connections.

If using the stock wiring harness the alternator "out" (-) would be routed to the light switch and horn also.
