Is there anywhere that has a decoder for the interior trim codes? I found everything else and even codes for T-Bird interiors but nothing for the rest of the lines. I'm sure without a doubt my interior is original but it would be nice to know what the trim is called. The trim code is H.

Trim codes for both the 55 and 56 model years are listed in the Ford- 55 - 56 Ford Passenger Car and Thunderbird-Chassis parts and accessories catolog.
Trim codes are again listed for all 3 model years in the Ford 55-56-57 Passenger Car and Thunderbird Chassis parts and accessories catolog. "H"- designates Light Blue and Medium Blue Cloth Oldmics |

Thanks for the quick response. Are these catalogs only print catalogs or are there any online sources?

Thanks. I figured that the bay would be the best bet to find these books.

The CD might be a good idea. I wonder what the image quality is like. I've bought a few CD manuals for other cars from other sources and the PDF's they were scanned to lacked clarity.
Nothing beats flipping through the actual paper pages.

Thanks guys for the suggestions but I recently found a nice set of original chassis, body and shop manuals from a Lincoln vendor called Lincolnlandinc.com for a really reasonable price. I got the three books for what a single book in similar condition would have cost looking on fleecebay.
They still have a limited selection of vintage Ford parts and books that might be worth looking into.

Very nice. I have the same book now plus I found a trim book for 1956 that covers all the model and has all the fabric chips.
