Default Clutch return Spring

I just put a new rebuilt tranny in my truck and I notice there is no clutch return spring on my truck. What is the length of the spring and where does it connect on the back side? I want to see if I can find one at a parts store instead of ordering one and waiting 2 weeks to get from Carpenter's

It's probably going to be an uphill battle trying to find the correct spring at a modern parts house. You don't give the information in your post but if you could provide the model and year of your truck, we may be able to help.....we stock many different early Ford clutch springs.

Sorry Mac, Its Jake in Montana. I was going to call you and see if you stock them. I don't see them in your catalog. 1950 Ford F1 is the vehicle. I cant see where the spring hooks on the back side.

Mine got lost too, so I went to the local True Value, they had a universal spring that was nearly identical but with a long straight end to cut to length. Cost about a $1.50, works great. No way to really identify it, other than it's about 1" diameter and pretty stiff.
