730 = De Luxe Fordor
If it is a body number plate, then it would be a body number plate (tag) that was placed there by one of the companies that manufactured Ford bodies. Ford built bodies had no body number tag/plate. Bodies manufactured for Ford by Murray, Briggs, Budd, etc, did have body number plate/tag. 11134 = 11,134th body produced by that company for that year. I am guessing that information concerning body number plates could be found in the Ford Club's 1934 Ford Book. Good luck. |

Does your car have existing holes for the tag? Is the car of Canadian build? If no holes the car MAY NOT take a tag (body built by Ford) If Canadian built the tag would be different. Check the frame serial number to see if it is Canadian built.
