Ron - I can't add anything to what all the other have said. All "Barners" are the benefactors of your wisdom. Thanks so much.

Thanks for being so generous with your knowledge and lifetime of experiences shared with all of us. I am always looking forward to reading your posts, especially those related to keeping the flathead current in this modern scene. I still enjoy re-reading your book occasionally.......Bob L

Happy Birthday to you Ron up there in Chester VT. Keeping making those mistakes, because if you are not making any, you are not learning anything new.

Ron, I love to see your smiling face when I tune in. I followed your step by step procedure on my last rod bearings and have the best oil pressure ever. Keep up the good work, and Happy Birthday!

Don't know how I missed this!!!!!

Sorry it's late Ron, I hope you has great day doing what you wanted to do.

To say your an inspiration is an understatement, you are genuinely responsible for my passion with these engines. Yours was the first flathead book I bought. Early 90's some time, not that long been outa school. At the same Hot Rod show that I purchased your book, I traded my Model T roadster with four cylinder running gear, for a 52 Chevy!! That hiccup was fairly quickly dealt with, I traded it back for my old T. It's been Ford's ever since.
It was your book that made my go back to Fords. And I'm very pleased I did.

It's great to see your smiley face on here, as others mentioned, always makes me smile. One day I'll get over the pond, be good to meet you in person.

Again, apologies for my lateness here.
I wish you all the very best for many years to come.
Martin.

Happy Birthday Ron! As a newby I haven't done much on my truck, but you've already helped me a couple of times. Your book is truly a little gem. Thanks a million for being here and for so freely sharing your knowledge and wisdom with guys like me who have so much to learn.
