9 inch pressure plate
I am looking for the bolt cyr. diameter for the 9" pressure plate used on the Model A when the flywheel is lightened. If someone has this info and could pass it on I would appreciate it. Thanks Ray

Re: 9 inch pressure plate
yes that is what im looking for. All the other work i have done, but have not been able to find bolt hole pattern for the v8 pressure plate. I didn't weigh the wheel yet but i know it's a lot lighter just by taking it off the lathe.

Re: 9 inch pressure plate
I can not find the attachment that was emailed to me several years ago to post. However be aware that the one that was shown in SOS speed several years ago had an error. I also think the one posted in SOS was the one for use with a flathead transmission so may not be the one you are looking for. Bolt pattern is the same though. Have you tried the search funtion to possibly find the info that has likely already been posted in the past? Rod

You must have machinist skills/abilities, eh , to be asking for the drawings ? I just take my flywheel to a machinist friend (4e4 buddy ) and he does the math and machining. Maybe doing a 'search' here the diagram with words like pressure plate and / or flywheel..will produce the drawings. Good luck with that though, as I can never seem to pull old subject matter to my satisfaction. I'm sure that someone here, good with records/computer skills, will give you what you need here ! Re: 9 inch pressure plate
The bolt circle is 10.375"D for the 9" B&B style long clutch. The holes are three pairs 120 apart, separation between holes in each pair is 32 degrees. Use a rotary table! Do NOT try to use a P.P. as a template, I've seen several with the holes punched/stamped 1/8" off. If you want X/Y coords from the wheel center for CNC send me a P.M.
