I was the best "Adder" the owner had at the Union 76 service station back in the early 80's. I could spot a tire low on air, either radial or bias ply, always asked to check oil and fluids, and "added" oil and gas without spilling it. Most of the other guys couldn't care less about doing any of these services correctly. In this regard I am proud to say I worked as an adder.
