Default Re: The Kari-Keen Trunk weather-proof cover

Just a point of clarification- the Kari-Keen trunk cover DID NOT fit over the closed trunk. It was much larger, intended to cover the contents of an opened, extended Kari-Keen. I believe it was made of cotton duck, like a tent or open car top, and folded up for storage inside the Kari-Keen when it was not extended open. Not just a cover for a closed trunk!

I saw the rotten remnants of one inside a trunk at Hershey many years ago and I believe it was that WWI brownish army tent color. I have no idea how it attached. Possibly fasteners like used in open cars. I would imagine if one had a Kari-Keen that was factory ordered with one there may be some signs of fastener attachment points on the trunk itself???
