Oil Pan Plug - 7/8"
Last week, after running the Coupe for the last time this year, I removed the drain plug and let the oil drain for a few days. Today I decided to replace the copper gasket before reinstalling the plug and refilling with oil. I find that the replacement gaskets provided by the vendor are 3/4" ID and my plug is 7/8" OD x 16 threads per inch.
Do I have a non-standard size plug, or are the gaskets incorrect? If the plug is incorrect can you suggest a source for 7/8" ID gaskets for the plug? Thanks - Bill |

Hardware stores and local auto parts stores should have an assortment of copper gaskets. It's rare that I need to buy a new one rather than reuse the old one.
