Albuquerque, NM, We are at the mercy of ONE station that carries Pure Gas in Premium only at $2.89, where Regular 10% ethanol is about $2.10. Also, here, our octane readings are about 2 points lower than surrounding states.
Not that octane means much to a Model A, here Reg is usually 85 or 86, Extra is 87 to 89, & Premium can be 90 to 92.

Regular 'Corn' gas : $2.60 per gallon

Ethanol-Free gas : $5.20 per gallon, plus signing a California State Document that states you will NOT use Ethanol-Free gas to power any vehicle on any public road in California.

Available from only one source in Humboldt County.

Part of the reason octane ratings are a couple points lower in NM is the altitude. Seems 86 in your state is equivalent to 87 out here in Whackofornia. In any case, the A seems to run fine on anything short of olive oil.
