We could be in for a cycle of a number of bad winters. So, head to Key West. I've never seen snow there.

It's cooled off to the high 80s here in Houston area! 60s at night. This is fall for us. Actually we only have two seasons, hot and warm.

Going to have some "Christmas Story" weather this year?

Come to Oregon. We have no rain (well not enough), no show, 70 and 80 degree weather. That is for now!

When I lived in Seattle we had rain non-stop from Labor day until Fathers day. We needed it to keep the moss growing on our roofs. Also had constant cloudiness interrupted with occasional partial sun and darkness from 4pm until 8am. A sunny weekend with no clouds or rain was like hitting the lottery.

Hello Dixie here I come!

We were promised more but only got about 5 inches or 12 cm. by the time the plows were out most accumulation had been melted by the terrential rain fall. Mighty dark over the lake again today so the roadsters stay inside! Wayne

Man........that's ugly and way too early for that mess. Just remember, with each snowflake comes a pound of road salt and 4 more pounds of rusty metal.

We had such a wet summer that I hope we have a dry winter to make up for it.

It's time to get ready I guess. The frame finally gave up on my 96 Dodge plow truck,so I started looking around for a replacement.I will not buy another new truck,my Cummins powered truck with a plow is now $64,000.Decent trucks like what I have are $10-$12000.So I decided to just put another frame under mine.I'll take a couple of weeks and do it.I kind of wanted give up plowing, but I have been plowing some or the same people since 1976.The last of those died off this summer.I just put my roadster to bed,the pickup will still be up for use on good days until the plates run out in November. This picture is my roadster last winter when I had to shovel the shed door out to get at a water pump in a hole under the floor. That is the snow level, not snowbank level.
