Re: Carb paint
http://www.klasskote.com/ seems to be the stuff the RC modelers now use for their projects.

Re: Carb paint
Aero gloss is Nitrate Dope. You can still get dope from Aircraft Spruce, Randolph Products or Brodak. I get mine from Brodak (Randolph makes it for them) in quart cans. it's easy to spray and works very well.

Re: Carb paint
Top Flight is now making a 10 oz spray can in black that is gas resistant after 24 hours. The listing is TOPR7509.
If you go into the Top Flight web site you can, by entering your Zip Code, find the dealers nearest you. I found several dealers in Reno which is 75 miles from Quincy, CA; called one of the dealers, ordered 2 cans at $6.99 a can. T got a call today from the dealer to tell me my paint was in. Ron |

Re: Carb paint
Amazon charges $12.99 a can with free shipping; why not buy from a dealer near where you live and only pay $6.99 a can ?
