Not trying to be a wise guy and this is a non-stock unit but Classic Instruments has a really nice gauge panel all ready to go - real nice looking for $900 I think it is, all 12 volt and all new gauges and electronic speedo.

Might try Williamsons: http://www.williamsons.com/
Also there's a Barner in Portland, OR who has been referred to in prior posts as doing good work but his name escapes me at the moment. CRS.

Keep the stock gauges and sending units then put a NAPA# IR1 instrument voltage regulator in series with gauges. That's what Ford did years ago and it works fine.

I have also done that and even used more modern Ford units with the sweep the same direction. To use one, all I ever did was swap the gauge face and needle with the old Ford unit and install ( using the Napa Cvr of course)

I'll second Baxters beautiful job on my 40 p/u gage cluster, they sent it ready to go with 12 V.

With what you have described, any gauge shop should be able to handle the job. If you have all your original King Seeley sending units in good working order, you could put a voltage regulator in, but you should still have your speedometer gone through. When we perform a 12 volt conversion of this nature, we build solid state voltage drop units per gauge and calibrate them to modern senders. Modern senders are MUCH more readily replaced in contrast to the original King Seeley points style, as you can imagine. The temperature gauge movement needs to be swapped out from a right to left movement to a left to right movement, as the original sender and modern sender operate in opposite fashion. Other than that, a basic cosmetic clean up and refinishing the housing is pretty basic service.
