How close does it need to be to the color chips in the Paint & Refinish Guide? No company has an authentic shade however Tiger Drylac has a color that is close.

A little pricey for powder but this is advertised as authentic color. Says its matched from the Paint & Refinish Guide.

Be cautious. Several people ( -me included) have had less than desirable experiences with them. Click HERE to read one set of comments. Another thread about them HERE. Others can be found by searching too.

FWIW,

I bought a low cost powder coat kit from Caswel Plating. Tried their powders, they seemed good. Tried some Eastwood too, seemed ok. Spent the extra $$ for the Tiger drylac after Brent's comments.

Worth every penny and would not go back. It takes a charge better, coats better and looks nicer. Keep in mind I am using one of those cheapo guns that hit and miss on how well they work, especially into corners.

Thanks for that info, I don't have any experiences in dealing with them. I only remembered seeing it somewhere a while back when I was considering having my wheels done. If guys have had bad experiences, I'd definitely give them a call before placing an order.
