What can be used to color light bulbs?
Where can light bulb covers be found?
Like for turn signal bulbs or the like?

I used an amber highlighter marker, quick and easy.

I went to Michaels (craft store) and bought orange glass paint for my 6 volt parking/turn signals in my '39. Works like a champ and no peeling.

I've used transparent paints from local hobby stores, Pep Boys sell the bulb covers, and sometimes regular spray paint can be used - light mist.

You can get the yellow or orange paint at hobby stores. it's used to paint the bulbs on train signals for model trains. I've used it and it works well.

I know truck stops used to carry thin silicone covers for various size light bulbs in various colors but I haven't looked lately.

Red is a problem. A flashing red light to the front will most likely get you a ticket. that is reserved for emergency vehicles.
