This thread is an excellent example of how NOT to buy a barn find.
Unless you've already bought the car, PAID for it, and have taken it HOME, you should consider deleting at least that photo of the license tag. I have a '35 coupe and nearly lost the buy because I told a "friend" I was arranging for a check to be sent from my bank ... never told him where it was, nothing. He found it and told the seller I was only bullshitting, and he tried to buy it. Fortunately the guy selling the car for the widow already knew his reputation. You should already know that the car is worth more than $8,000 ... and posting it here to have someone tell you, "$6,000 for the lot, just my 2 cents" is embarrassing to serious early ford guys. Plenty of folks will screw you for cars not that nice.
