My question is not intended as critical.
Will the chicken wire pull out from beneath those staples set as indicated by the arrow?

I think I remember seeing that the original top bows on my 60A sedan had a material like a very thick felt paper like that used for roofing on top of the wood and under the wire mesh but some were also stirips of scrap top material - better sound deadening?

We now have anti-squeak strips of duck cloth between the rib and wire. Also have added staples to the back rib to reinforce the wire.

Ready for some good padding! I didn't use the a/c filter media junk sent to me from a east coast supplier that is trying to be nice here. I forget their name number address.
I used 1 old army blanket to cover the wire and 2 down past the edges front back and sides. |

i use the LB kits,
comes with all the right stuff anti squeak, fabric, padding, etc to do the job |

Got the roofing in place and tacked. Today will make a couple of adjustments. Marco's instructions are very helpful. Hope to get the tacks set today. Trim in place tomorrow.
