OK, I guess I don't understand. The rod that goes up through the carb body that the linkage connects to has 3 holes in it. One on the bottom and the linkage sticks through 1 side and pokes out a little on the other side. I have cleaned the carb body good as well as put PB Blaster all on and around where the linkage goes through. I have used screwdriver and tried to pry it out, no luck. The linkage is loose in there, I can wiggle and turn it. What holds it in? If some kind of a socket and spring is in there, how did they make it, I see on evidence of it coming apart.
