Thank you, but truthfully, the picture is better than the car. It is really a driven, borderline beater! But I love it.

Welcome to the best A site ever. What you can't find out about your A on here you don't need to know. The resident experts are only too happy to help !

I have a Vette also although it's just a bit older than yours. (1962) Actually my A's are easier to drive and get a lot more attention putting around town. Your Roadster is CUTE...... |

Welcome to the "Barn". I am fairly new here as well, but learn more each time I visit or ask a question. My garage mate for the 31 sport coupe is 55 Chevy Bel Air .

at one time there was a very nice car show in Smithfield in the summer. I think the name of the guy that ran it was Lombardi, a very nice person. They were trying to attract all types of old cars, not just the trailer queens but the drivers as well. Check it out. I cannot recall exactly where it was but it was a rural setting.
good luck with the car and we'll all help out as much as we can!

Welcome! If Gatsby drove an A it would have been just like yours! I also have a Chev confession to make - my '28 phaeton shared a garage with a '27 Chev for a while. Neither appeared to be harmed by the experience, although there are some here who will tell you that the rust can jump across.

another show you and Sparky would enjoy is Mystic seaport in September, usually 3rd weekend, if they still have it.
The mandated museum cutoff is 1929, so only the '28-'29 Model As would qualify. Very nice venue. We used to go all the time.

Yes, I've been meaning to go but haven't made it yet. In addition, this year's New England Model A meet is also in Mystic this September.

Welcome to the club. I'm sure that you will enjoy the camaraderie.
We also are A and Corvette lovers; we have two of each, plus an assortment of other cars in various states of disrepair. |
