Default Posting Pictures

I have never been successful in posting pictures to the site, however I have just come across some instructions I had written, so I'll try them.

How #1 ? Someone sent me instructions, in detail and I must have filed them in the 4Q NG file, by mistake. Once in awhile, some "Barn" people have posted full pictures and at times, some have posted tabs to go to a photo site.....??? I can't work that route. I do know, pictures have to be reduced like on the avatar, but full shots, in detail are nice to view.

Go Advanced. At the bottom, "Manage Attachments" See Thumbnail at bottom.

Or use Flickr like I prefer and attach BB Code for a larger picture.

Johnsor, Thanks for the use of your picture for example.

I keep hearing about people using the photo sharing sites. I keeping finding that pictures disappear from the barn (and HAMB) as a result of a minor change the photo sharing sites make to their software. I thing I will stick with posting directly tot HAMB or Fordbarn and eliminate the risk. If someone has a specific need for a high resolution picture they can contact me and I will email it to them.

The reason I have found that pictures disappear is because the poster deletes the picture from the photo sharing site not "as a result of a minor change the photo sharing sites make to their software."

While I guess it is possible, I have not had that problem with Flickr. I like to see larger pictures of other's cars is because I like to copy and save them to my hard dick.

But my main reasoning to mention two ways was to give Johnsor a couple of options to post pictures.

The problem with Flickr is the pix can go away after a while, so they may not be available in future searches.

Oops! I missed the earlier post above.
