Now white walls or black walls is the question :-) It would be fun in snow !
I haven't followed it recently but Coker Tire had plans a while ago to reproduce the cogged tire.

Yup, a quick search reveals they're still available.

At $318 a pop (plus shipping) one has to be VERY much into the hobby.

I worked on the restoration of the one below for a friend. Mike was serious and located some NOS tires. He then went to Coker to start the ball rolling which included supplying them with one of the tires to copy.

Yuumm... If I can see it on my screen, I can copy it... Just saying
I'm not sure why Vince does that to his site. Surely he knows of the trick too? And must understand that others can do it as well?

I'm just normally too lazy to pull up an image like that. Although the ARPS tire above was done using paint.

Did you notice Vince's "Fordgarage" watermark in the lower left on his pix? It is well the brochure is out of copyright.

Well, it is isn't it? How can one be truly sure? I think Google currently draws the line at 1923 for Google Books.

And I'm too lazy to put my image below to Photobuddy/Farm & Flicker, whatever. So I''ll just put it on using "attach" and let you get your glasses.
