The cowl lacing that I have is too thick who makes the correct cowl lacing for a 34?

The challenge is that the currently-available lacing from all of the main stream suppliers is soft core and before long is flattened to the point where the moulding and pin striping on the hood no longer line up with their counterparts on the cowl. The bar bell type of lacing was also used on some Model As and A&L Parts Specialties in Canton, CT, at least formerly, had the real deal hard core lacing which evidently no one manufactures any more.

David then what are you currently using for cowl lacing on your cars to keep it functional and original?
