The good news is that the timing light isn't "voltage specific", since that type runs off of the secondary ignition voltage, which can vary all over the place. The bad news is that the light is so weak that it literally can't be seen. You may have lucked out, but that looks exactly like one I had when i was a kid. I literally had to wait until it was dark out, close the garage doors, turn off the lights, and then I could see just enough to check the timing.

I like the last wrench. It had to be big tight bolts seeing the places specifically designed to be "pounded on" at the ends.
