The 5 brush powerhouse and 3 brush powerhouse both have a safe output of 15 amps, while the long generator has a safe output of 12 amps. All 3 do their job well for a normal Model A. If you want to run high amp parts, then you need to change to a later fan cooled generator, which is good for about 35 amps, or switch to an alternator.
