The "Ladyslipper" Model A club of Rochester MN participated in a parade on the 4th in Stewartville MN and I joined in.
I was curious about how hot my engine water would get. I have a '31 Roadster with a Brassworks pressurized radiator and a 6 blade plastic fan. It was about 70 - 75 degrees out and the route was 2 miles. The water temp got up to 185 by the end of the route. It cooled back to 155 degrees as soon as I got back on the road. Sound normal to you folks? The only issue was my left leg got a work out from keeping the clutch in so long. Was a lot of fun and would recommend it to anyone who has not done it yet. Lee |
