Default Door Window Crank Removal on my '41.

To replace the broken door glass on my '41 coupe, I am trying to remove the upholstery panel. Window frame came out with little trouble.
I expected the usual fight with the door and crank handle pin removal. But this time I am stumped. The pin is frozen hard into the handle. Put the right size drift pin on it and went from tapping to pounding. Went after both ends but it will not budge. I have destroyed the spring loaded escuchion to get better access to the pin.

Any suggestions before I take a drill to it, and risk ruining something else.

Also, any suggestions on replacement pins. I find none at the usual Ford parts places.
