I do like and use a product like Water Wetter in my Model A and my '40 Ford for added protection in our brutal Texas summer heat. I think it does help, although this summer's heat wave was a real test of my cooling system After reading all. the above posts, I'm thinking I might just go with a new 2 blade fan instead of a shroud. While I'm at it, I'm going to clean the radiator too. Since my REXACO temp gauge gave me the impression that the temperature was in the DANGER zone, I'm now suspicious of the accuracy of my gauge since it never boiled over. |
