remove the bolt in the exhaust manifold right above the starter, last two bolts from the front. if water/coolant leaks from these bolt holes then this is what could have happened-- that is a problem area for using too long of a bolt which results in pushing thru the
water jacket. not all is lost if this be the case, can be remediated with engine in car.
