Thumbs up Skip Haney - Shout out

The 36 Phaeton I acquired last year showed all of the symptoms of vapor lock due to overheating, and yet a thermal gun showed a maximum of about 160 degrees.

Sure enough, Skip’s rebuild of the coil solved the problem completely (also did water pumps for good measure as original impellers were highly eroded).

For the first time in 9 months, I have the confidence to go for a multi-hour drive.

My sincere thanks to those Forum contributors who pointed me Skip’s way, and to the quality of his work.
