I am looking for instructions for activating the South Wind heater in my 39 Pickup. The heater is installed and the part protrudes through the firewall. A friend provided me with a jet tube but it needs to be installed. I believe a hole must be drilled in the lid of the float chamber on the Model 94 carb to provide a fuel source through the capillary tube. I am unsure about where to drill and how to make the connections to the firewall fitting. I am rebuilding the carb and have the plate that goes under it to provide the vacuum source.
Any kindness in helping me is greatly appreciated. I am considering selling the Dodge Ram and using this one as my only truck when restoration is complete so it will need a heater and later A/C if there is such a modification. Thanks, John in Red Virginia |
