Default Adjustable Tappets

Has anyone tried the split bolt adjustable tappets? They don't have a jamb nut.
Do they stay adjusted once they are set?
Thanks

I have had problems with two. You are between a rock and a hard place, the double locks have a smaller foot diameter that is not compatible with some cam grinds. I disassembled, degreased, tightened the fit, and then bead blasted the threads on the last two new sets I have used. I also re-dressed the bolt faces, as the surface was not a true flat interface to the valve stem.

Same here, many years, thousands of miles no problems.
