Default pan gasket set

I got the pan gasket set from Snyders. There are 2 identical pieces in it that are about 1/4 by 3/8 by 5 inches long. One goes between the rear main cap and the pan .... where does the other one go?

There are two different rear main caps which take the cork seal for 28/29 use the 13/32" wide and for 30/31 use the 3/8" wide . But if your engine has been replaced/rebuilt you should check the width of the cap seal width .
