Starter ring gear for multiplate clutch flywheel?

Does the starer ring gear A-6384 fit the multiplate clutch flywheel? Also what is the part number for the bearing on the multiplate clutch (we call it the spigot bearing over here) that sits in the center of the flywheel and carries the main drive gear thru' the clutch? Thank you.

The starter ring gear fits all years for the Model A. Be sure the beveled side faces the rear of the car.

I accidentally put a ring gear on backwards, coated the teeth with wheel bearing grease, & it worked perfectly.

Yes, And the modern pre-engaged ones fire from the front without any problem. ( so far!)

When I've ever put on a new ring gear, I coated the teeth with a mixture of wheel bearing grease/white lead. Keeps everything working smoothly & prevents that GRRRRRR, when the starter gear doesn't engage well.
In years of working on Jaguars, with a similar type inertia bendix, I dressed a few bad flywheel teeth, did the grease "trick" & they worked like a champ.
If I had a starter gear that was sticky & wouldn't engage, I'd drill a hole in the bell housing, flush the spiral with Berryman's Chemtool, a whisp of WD-40 & it was perfect, again!
